Caraway

Caraway is one of the oldest spices in the world and grows in warm regions such as North Africa, where it was used in ancient Egypt, but also grows in cooler areas. Finds in Europe show the use of caraway in the Stone and Bronze Ages. The remedy helps in particular with stomach and intestinal problems and is of course also in demand from a culinary perspective. Nowhere is caraway used as much as in Germany and can be found here in bread, stews, soups and sausages.
